OUR STORY
This short story started years ago in a little country called Moldova. From humble beginnings in one of the poorest countries in Europe, Tudor held many odd jobs from a shoe repairman to a crane operator. When it was time to start a family, Tudor faced many uncertainties such as how to care for his family and where they should live. However, in the midst of these unknowns, he knew one thing: that when he built his house, it would have wooden floors.
In 1997, he relocated to the United States with his wife and six children. While his kids went to school, Tudor continued to work at various jobs to save money in order to buy a truck and the necessary equipment for his startup business. clientele list grew longer, so he brought his oldest son Andrei to work with him. At times, his son would skip school to help out and learn the ins and outs of the business. However, Andrei was not as excited about flooring as his father was. Instead, he grew up with a drawing pencil and a coloring book. Since the age of 8 he found a passion for drawing and painting. He eventually enrolled in the Art Institute of Atlanta and studied while still helping to keep his father’s business alive. During that time, he managed to make the Dean’s List twice and had two of his art works, “The Kiss” and “Snowboard Illustration” showcased in the school talent show for potential employers. Four years later, he graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with a BFA in Illustration and Design.
As an art school graduate and an experienced wood worker, Andrei realized that he could use his artistic skills and knowledge of hardwood floors to create a unique type of design. A design that is fast, beautiful, and colorful, and that requires no cutting of any kind, no modifications, and no mess. Together, Tudor and Andrei have decided to concentrate only on hardwood floors as to provide the best quality workmanship they can offer. Tudor’s knowledge and experience combined with Andrei’s detail-oriented skills ensure hardwood floors are done in a professional, timely manner, with a touch of artistic flair.
